2003 Here I am in a new home and a new site for my Grannies House. I
hope you will enjoy your visit here. I have some new sites and new
pages for you to see. So much has changed in my life in the last 3
years. I lost my husband in Sept 1999, then in April of 2000 my dad and
in June of 2000 a son-in-law. So quickly they disappeared from life. In
November of 2000 I moved to Alabama. I have a new life and new friends.
Both online and off line. I have had to give up my job because of the
Fibromyalgia. In October of 2001 I gained a new grandchild: James Alexander 'Xander' my first grandson. I live close enough to spoil him. In November of 2002 I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia and Chronic Fatigue Symdrome. You will find a link to my new site on that farther along on this page. I hope you will have a good visit here. Please write and tell me what you think. |
| I hope to be
able to share some things with you. Since I am now a Grandmother I do
have some experience in life.
I spent a lot of time with my children while they were growing up. We played lots of games, card and board games. I think it is important to do so. Now that I am a widow I look back on those times with such pleasure. My advice is to spend quality time with your children. It will do you good and them too. I do have a few pages for you to visit. My kitchen should be up and going soon. Then we will have cookies and more words of wisdom. |

Notice how the print gets
smaller every year? I wish they wouldn't do that. I do love the read a
good book. It seems as if my favorite author is the one I am currently
reading at this time. I do have a list that I will look for when I go
looking for a book. Sometimes a friend will put me on to one that they
have read and like. I like a variety so I don't just stick with one
type. I have just added a library here on Grannie's website. I hope you
will visit it. Just click on the books.
